About The Author
Author, Marc Robertz-Schwartz
After selling Red Apples Media, my multi award-winning video production, marketing and media agency in late 2024, I set out with a simple mission — to bring more than 30 years of experience, best-practices, creativity, innovation and unwavering work ethic to enhance businesses and organizations, aligning with my personal and professional values. How was I going to do this? By becoming an author and writing – The RED APPLES Way – released in February 2026 by Indie Books International, about the importance of core values in defining, differentiating, and driving businesses for success.
Back Story
I spent the first half of my career working for television stations up and down the east coast, from Maine to Miami, including stops with the NBC-owned stations group (WTVJ, Miami) as the VP, Creative Services, to the CBS-owned stations group (WFOR, Miami) as the Sales Marketing Manager, along with way, winning three (3) regional EMMY Awards.
Recruited by The Villages – the massive retirement community in central Florida – to initially build out their 24-hour cable channel, I was later tasked with launching their in-house marketing agency, managing nearly $50 million in local, national and international advertising, sponsorships, special events and all creative (with the exception of print) until my team was laid off when the economy crashed in 2008.
With few options during the economic crash, I dove into entrepreneurship “out of fear and desperation,” launching an innovative health/medical/wellness in-office video content network, featuring a monthly 60-minute subscription-based program, “Hometown Health TV,” which would eventually lead to more than 150 consecutive episodes and a dozen honors and awards. Building a reputation of excellent client services, innovation, and the ability to develop and manage client brands, Hometown Health TV, LLC rebranded as Red Apples Media, a full-service media, marketing and production agency, working with a wide range of best-in-class clients across a variety of sectors including health/medical, construction related, professional services, education, non-profits, to name just a few.
Red Apples Media’s core values – the inspiration for the book, and also forms an acronym for RED APPLES – starts with – “[R]espect The Universe.” If you really want to understand who I am, how I lead, what motivates me, and how I’m wired, exhibited by the company core values I developed as the Red Apples Media foundation, the core values acronym is the best place to start.
And by the way, if you’re read this far and curious about the hyphenated name, Marc Robertz-Schwartz — just ask! It’s kind of a fun story.
